| Warehouse volunteers are needed to assist with inventory before, during, and after the Games as well as distribution of signs before, and collection after the Games. This committee will also order and take delivery of new signs that are made in the host community. Games signs will be made professionally, to maintain a consistent colour logo and overall appearance. The Signs and Carpentry Chair will coordinate all this activity.
Volunteers (with their own tools) will be asked to undertake small projects, and refurbish the Games inventory of podiums, stanchions, and other properties. |

| The purpose of this Chair area is to coordinate requests from 14 Directorates for cash/in-kind contributions. This coordination will be done by requesting that Chairs submit Request Forms indicating the items/cash they will require to stage the Games. These Request Forms will be reviewed and approved by the Director responsible.
The Directorate Liaison will forward Request Forms to Recruitment Chairs (both Cash & In-Kind). The Recruitment Chairs will keep Directorate Liaison informed of status of requests and the Directorate Liaison will forward information to Directors responsible for areas. |

| The purpose of this area is to work with local Corporate and Funding Partner representatives to ensure optimal recognition and exposure is provided and the Corporate Partner is involved at the community level in all Games-related events. This will include providing specific exposures for CP's (i.e.: placement of CP signage at all events/venues), prominent display of CP/FP logos and additional promotion/public relations opportunities as appropriate. |

| The purpose of this Chair area is to develop a program that will encourage local businesses to contribute cash and value-in-kind to the Games, and to develop a system to accommodate the Request Forms from the Directorate Liaisons. | The purpose of this area is to establish an effective Games Medical Clinic meeting the needs of Games participants. This will include identifying, equipping and staffing a suitable location during the Games. |

| This area is to recruit, coordinate and schedule the activities of a pre-determined number of men and women in your community to serve as Hosts to the BC Seniors Games.
There are three types of Hosts to consider. Firstly, there is the Guest Host whose primary responsibility will be to escort BC Seniors Games Guests to a variety of Games functions.
Secondly, Sport Hosts will take an active role at pre-selected Sport venues during the Games, serving as information sources (about the Games and the community) to Games participants and the general public, and to assist in the distribution of box lunches on the Thursday and Friday of the Games.
Thirdly, Hospitality Hosts may be utilized prior to the Games by assisting at assorted socials and receptions. During the Games, they will be involved in registering the Games Guests upon their arrival at the Games and in staffing the Guest Hospitality Suite. |

| This Chair is responsible for the accreditation of all Games participants and registered non-participants when they arrive in your community. This will include identifying and preparing an Accreditation facility, recruiting volunteers to accredit the participants, preparing all Registration kits prior to the participant’s arrivals. | The purpose of this area is to establish a system to return any lost articles found during the Games to their owners, where known, including the establishment of a Lost and Found Headquarters during the Games. |

| The purpose of this area is to ensure all BC Seniors Games venues have adequate parking control during the times of public usage. This will include determining which venues will require control, for which times and days, and how many spaces to reserve in each lot and the recruiting and scheduling volunteers to staff all parking lots as needed. | The purpose of this area is to establish two separate Courtesy Car systems. System A: To provide new cars to the Guests Hosts (Protocol) to drive selected BC Seniors Games Guests to assorted Games Events and social functions. If new cars are not available, Hosts will be asked to provide their own cars. System B: To recruit, schedule and train volunteers as Courtesy Car drivers for the duration of the Games. You will require approximately 50 volunteers in total to meet your needs. Structure and operate a Courtesy Car Dispatch Centre of volunteers scheduled to drive new cars and their personal vehicles during the Games. These volunteers will provide service to Participants and will deliver lost/found items to their owners. |
